About Stakmore

STAKMORE has been manufacturing its unique line of folding chairs and tables since 1922. Through the years we have taken great pride in providing a quality product. Utilizing the original patented folding mechanisms and chair designs as a base, Stakmore produces folding products that complement the permanent furniture found in residential homes and commercial applications.

All of Stakmore's chairs and tables are constructed of solid imported hardwood (Rubberwood) that has been dried to the proper moisture content for the North American climate. Why should you care about that? Wood used in furniture that has not been dried properly will give off moisture over time, shrinking, creating gaps in joints, cracking and splitting.

After drying, machining and assembling furniture the most visible part of furniture and the critical point that differentiates most furniture in the customers mind is the finish. Stakmore utilizes a multi-step stain, sealer and topcoat process to provide a rich durable finish on our products.

MECO Corporation acquired STAKMORE on May 30, 2014. MECO has been a supplier of steel folding furniture since 1959. The addition of the STAKMORE wood folding furniture line of products will compliment our current line of products and allow us to better service our retail customers by offering them the option of steel and wood folding furniture under the umbrella of one vendor. All STAKMORE operations and product distributions have been moved to MECO's headquarters in Greeneville, TN.

We pledge to provide the same level of quality service and delivery that STAKMORE customers were accustomed to prior to the acquisition.
